Our trip to paradise

We have been talking about going to Maui for the past two years but things just kept coming up (like a wedding last summer, being laid off, starting a new job, 2 funerals...you get the point).  

Last fall, my sister-in-law Tasha finally made us nail down a day and put it in stone (buy the plane tickets).  

It started out as an adult only trip but soon turned into a BIG family (plus, an extra friend trip).  

There were fourteen of us...

but we finally made it happen! 

We flew out of Las Vegas on March 23, for 9 magical days.  

We have been to Oahu a couple of times but now I realize Oahu doesn't even come close to Maui.  

It was heaven!  

I am already planning another trip to go back.
