Keep your eye on the coconut

Being from the desert, it is always amazing to me to find truly "fresh" produce.  This is something we just don't get here and we treasure it when we find some.  We stopped at a fruit stand on our second day in Hawaii and we were pleased with the abundance of pineapple and all of our favorite fruits and veggies.
We decided to stock-up for our BBQ the next day.
My favorite part of Hawaii

We bought enough of these to eat for a week

This is quite how we like our bananas.

This was interesting candy.  Wyatt left his in the rental car and the next day it was covered in ants.  We don't know how the ants got into the rental car.

Wyatt wanted the kids to taste fresh coconut milk.  The man drilled a hole in the top.

It wasn't quite what they expected

Everyone tried it

Jordan isn't much for trying new things

Can you see Russ loading up the avocados?

Rowdy could barely lift the coconut

These were the best smoothies ever

Wyatt sliced open the coconut

It was gooey inside and the kids have never seen a coconut like this before, it was yucky!

Weston wanted the avocado instead

Kate, just lookin' pretty!

  1. I still don't know how the ants got in our rental car too??? It's a mystery. I miss Maui so much and can't wait to go back!
