Arriving in Maui

Yes, it is true that when you arrive in Maui they present you with a
flower Lei.
If...and only if you pay for it
Or
You get lucky and you have someone with you who had already ordered and paid for his (Jordan's friend Braydon) when he purchased his airline ticket months ahead of time.
The Lei-lady was leaving for the night and happened to have
a bunch of extra lei's so she
gave them to the rest of the group free of charge.

The $20.00 lei is on the left but it doesn't look any different

After leaving the airport, we went to our hotel.
Russ, Travis, Kellie and I stayed here.

Wyatt and Tasha stayed at the Westin Villas

It was rough...but somebody had to stay there.

The kids stayed in a condo that Russell's friend let us rent for an incredibly low price of $450.00 for 7 days.  It was worth 10 x that amount to have the kids nicely tucked away in their own place.
I loved the 1980's decor but the kids didn't seem to mind.

The kids had a kitchen and Costco provided the food to feed these hungry boys (and Torri)
instead of eating out every meal.

Mean while, back at the ranch...or should I say the hotel and spa?
Wyatt & Tasha had left us treats and notes.

And two beds for Russ and I...hmmm, this was an interesting dilemma.  Which one do we sleep in?  Have you heard about Westin's heavenly beds?  Well I have NOW and they were heavenly!
