I know I've posted these pictures before but I want to say thank-you again to our military vets. More personally to the ones in my life. My grandpa Thacker was wounded in World War II and received a purple heart, he served in the Marines. My father served in the Army reserves. My Uncle Jim served in the Air Force reserve and my Uncle John the Army. My brother Lonnie was in the Army special forces. My sweet hubby Russ spent 10.5 years active duty Air Force and 10 years Air Force Reserve before he retired. My son Tyler now serves in the Air Force over in Ramstein, Germany. I have numerous cousins who have served in every branch of the military and we have met many friends who served in the Air Force. I want to thank them all today as we celebrate Veterans day. We are truly blessed to live in a country where we have so many freedoms. We can worship how we want and vote in open elections. I am proud of the military members of my family, my thoughts and prayers are with all the military members today. May God bless them as they proudly serve our country.
