Year-round school

Poor Westy started back to school for 7 long weeks. Having to go in the summer is just punishment for all of us. No family vacations, No sleeping in, No fun time with Weston! I almost home-schooled Weston this past year because we got track 3 again and I knew summer time would be hard again. Not only does Weston miss out on swimming every day and playing with his friends but having to go out for recess & PE in over 100 degree temperatures is just NOT fun! When I got in the car to pick-up Weston from school the other day, here is what the temperature said...109 degrees. YUCK! Thankfully, the school district is BROKE and all elementary schools will be 9 month next year. Oops, did I just say I am happy the school district is BROKE? Well, that's not exactly what I mean...but c'mon, year round school STINKS!
