4th of July

We made it back to Henderson on Sunday afternoon just in time for a BBQ with all the kids and a few extra friends. Russ grilled up steaks and hot dogs and we had all the 4th of July trimmings including corn on the cob & watermelon. It was great to finally have the whole family together again, it almost felt like Christmas in July.

After dark, the kids lit tons of fireworks and put on quite the show. Later, the neighbors next door lit huge fireworks that were going off over our heads as we cooked s'mores in the backyard.
