Growing up in Utah, we went to dozens of parades throughout the summer. Every town/city has some type of parade. That is the thing we have missed the most about living in Nevada. The parades are far and few between. We were up and going Saturday morning so we could make it to the parade by 8:00 am. We forgot the blanket and chairs...we don't know proper parade etiquette. Thankfully the beach towels were in the back of the truck so we used them. The best thing about little town parades is they throw candy and hand out all sorts of balls, Frisbees, etc.
