What's a mom to do?

We interrupt this busy week with moans and groans from a teenager complaining he is sick. Doesn't he know that I don't have time for sick kids? Russ reminds me that kids get sick even at important times in their lives. Ugh! Jordan has his awards assembly tonight at the College. He keeps telling me he can't go because he is sick. I don't know if I should make him go or let him be sick. Why today? Will he regret this forever or hate me if I make him go? What's a mom to do? He is up for some pretty cool awards so now what?
