Thankful

Today is a good day to be thankful for the military guys in my life! My son Ty (Active duty Air Force), my sweet husband Russ (Retired Air Force), my brother Lonnie (Army Reserves), my dad (Army Reserves), my grandpa Thacker (Marines/Army who served during World War II and earned the purple heart when he was wounded) and many other family and friends. I miss my Tyler today. He doesn't feel very important when people tell him thank-you for serving our country but he should be proud that he is one of the brave ones. On this memorial day we remember the ones that are gone but not forgotten.
