TorriLyn & Bryce announce their engagement

While Russ and I were at the movie on Saturday night, Torri kept trying to call me during the movie. I text her to say that we were still in the movie. She said, "Okay, call me when you're done." Afterwards, I called her and she blurts out, "I'm engaged!" She ran through the story of how Bryce had picked her up late to go to dinner. She was frustrated thinking they should have spent the day together. Well, Bryce had been at the jewelry store most of the afternoon trying to pick-up the ring which wasn't quite ready. Since he ordered it in January, he was frustrated that it wasn't ready! By the time he made it to Torri's apartment, it was after 7:00 pm. Torri shot down every plan for dinner at a nice restaurant (even the place he had reservations). She finally picked a more casual place (Fudruckers) and they finally made it to dinner. After dinner, Bryce had made a cd full of some of their favorite songs and took Torri dancing at a quaint place over looking the city. He dropped his chapstick for an excuse to get down on one knee and popped the question. She said, YES! They are officially engaged and the wedding date is set for June 5, 2010 in the Las Vegas temple. Mark your calendars! Congratulations Torri and Bryce!
