Dear John

Friday afternoon Torri and I went to get pedicures and do some shopping. I love hanging out with Torri and it has been even more fun helping her start the wedding planning. After the long and chaotic week last week, we both needed a little pampering. Later that night, Russ and Bryce met up with us and we all went to Chevy's for dinner. Afterwards, Torri and I somehow talked the guys into going to the movie, "Dear John." This movie is a love story but it made me super homesick for my Tyler. I couldn't help but think about him and the struggles he is going through lately with his decision to join the Air Force. I am very proud of my Tyler. I hope that he can soon get re-classified and move on in a career. I am not sure why he has ran into a snag but I know that he is growing and will become stronger from the trials he is going through.  Someday he will look back and see this as just a small piece of time even though right now it seems like time is standing still.
