Russ worked nights last week and was scheduled to work on Sunday. Plus, I was scheduled to work Saturday, Monday/Tuesday. This made it difficult to find time to go out on a date with my sweetie last weekend. I was pleasantly surprised when my work called Saturday night to cancel me. Wahoo! We headed out to dinner and a movie. Since we were starting our date at 7:00 pm, most of the restaurants in Las Vegas was hopping with an hour or more wait at most places. After driving around to various places, we opted for Mimi's Cafe, not a date night favorite but yummy just the same. Afterwards, we headed to the theater to see Valentines Day. With all the movie stars, I was hoping for a little better story line. However, it was a funny movie and we had a good laugh in most parts. My sweetie always buys me red roses for Valentines day and he got a bag full of goodies including chocolate, cologne and goodies. It was a fun night!
