I was super surprised when Russ came home today with a DVD. He put it in the player and called the kids and I to watch it with him. I was even more surprised when it was my wedding video. Russ had taken it several weeks ago to a place to have it transferred from VHS to DVD. I have wanted to do this for awhile since the VHS tape was going black in some parts. VHS tapes just don't last! The color is pretty faded but it was so awesome to watch it again. I think we have actually only watched it 5 times in the almost 25 years we've been married. Now that Torri is planning her wedding, it was fun to see how things have changed over the years. One of the main things that stood out was all of the family members that have already passed on (young-uns and oldies). When you are young, you just don't realize how fragile and precious life is!
What a awesome thing to have! I need to get mine on a DVD, even though it's only been 5 years since I was married mine was done on a VHS! So I need to have it redone so it will last longer. :)
