Wednesday, December 30th we headed up to Snoqualmie Falls to go tubing. When we arrived up the mountain, it was snowing big, fluffy, wet flakes. The kids were so excited! The tube run was open from 6:00-9:00 and it was bitter cold. I really thought the kids would only last for an hour or so. I was dead wrong, the kids were great and lasted the full 3 hours. Even Rowdy made it down the hill & back up 3 times before he started dozing off on the rides back up the mountain on the tow rope.
Playing in the snow is fun but tubing is a blast! The kids just couldn't get enough and we had to make them leave when the three hours was up.
The resort operators were shocked that Las Vegas people were in Seattle for a vacation this time of year. They said they wished they were in Las Vegas to celebrate New Years eve.
Snoqualomie Falls is and AWESOME PLACE! We took a picnic lunch over there one year.
