New Year's eve

Bryce flew up to meet us in Seattle on New Year's eve. Torri and Ty went to the airport to pick him up before the girls went to get pedicures. Around 7:00 pm, Greg & April's family along with their friends Erin, Craig & baby Isaiah came over for a New Year's eve party. There were 19 of us total. We had enough food to feed an army. Along with tons of appetizers, Tasha did a chocolate fountain with yummy fruits and things to dip in it. Torri called my cousin Jan for directions to our favorite card came, hand & foot. We all needed a quick refresher course since we haven't played for awhile. It didn't take long for everyone to get the hang of it and soon we were loud & having a good time.

At 11:58 pm, Weston came in and told us it was almost midnight. We had all been too busy playing cards to pay attention to the time. We all jumped up and went running outside to light some fireworks. After 20 minutes of torturing the neighbors with loud bottle rockets & fireworks, we finally got back to our card game.

We had plenty of friendly competition that night...NOT! Torri & Bryce were partners and well, she was not so friendly. She takes after her Grandma S and she gets kind of cut-throat when she plays games. Before we knew it, we were well into New Year's day and it was already 2:00 am. Lucky for Bryce, the game playing was over!
