One of my favorite sayings is, "Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas when you stop opening presents and listen." Since we had decided to make memories this year for Christmas instead of buy a bunch of gifts, I was amazed at how well this idea had gone over with my kids. They didn't seem to mind waking up on Christmas morning without Santa having been there. The kids were just excited and could hardly wait to get to Seattle to be with Baby Rowdy, Wyatt & Tasha. It was truly all about being together for them. They didn't need the gifts, they just seemed to be grateful for what they had been given. So when we woke up on the 27th, we were so surprised to see that Wyatt and Tasha had spoiled each of the kids rotten. They went over and beyond the call of duty this year and provided most of their Christmas...all the stocking stuff, tickets to the Seahawks game and much, much more! I am still amazed at how generous they were to each of us. They tried extra hard to make this year special and we appreciate them from the bottom of our heart.
