Goodbye my dear friend
Late last night the world lost a mother, grandmother, daughter and best friend. Jessi (Cathy's daughter) called me a little after 11:00 pm on April 6, to tell me her mom had passed away. It ended up being around the same exact time my mom had passed eleven years ago. I haven't taken it well...and I spent last night crying. Ok, maybe it was more like bawling my eyes out. I also spent today doing more of the same. I miss her and I miss my mom.

I am so sorry! Great friends are hard to come by and then to have to be separated by them hurts. You are in my prayers, and her family!

ReplyDeleteEven though I have known this day was coming, it still doesn't seem real. I feel so lonely and vulnerable. There are huge missing pieces from my heart and today I am wondering how my heart is still beating. Maybe next week the world will look brighter but today it seems dark and dreary. Thank you to everyone for trying to cheer me up, it is much appreciated!
