Lonnie D.

My big brother lost his battle with ALS this morning at 9:12 am. He was the best big brother a girl could have. I will miss him more than anything in the whole wide world. When my mom died, Lonnie was the one that kept our family together. I have never known a day without him in it. and I'm not sure how I will go on without him now.  Lonnie called me Sisty-babe when I was born and he still called me that when I would see him.  I loved spending time with my big bro.  Every girl should be lucky enough to have a big brother to help and support them through life.  We could talk for hours about anything and everything.  My heart is breaking into a million pieces. I love you Lonnie, you are my hero.  You are the strongest man that I know, you gave a valiant fight and you endured to the end.  I will always look up to you I love you with all my heart, might, mind and soul.

  4. Laura,
My heart just aches for you as I read the news about your brother. I know it has been a difficult journey and you must be devastated. My first thought was of your mom and that she must be welcoming him home with her. I know you are strong and the knowledge you have of the Lord's plan will help you get through. Our prayers are with you and all of your family.
    Love, Jill & family
